Our engineering team have\nbeen working tirelessly over the past few months to bring further improvements to our\nsoftware package. The features in our latest update make our products easier and more\nintuitive to use while further increasing the quality of the data that they generate. </p>\n<p><strong>Hard Material Testing Just Got Easier!</strong></p>\n<p>Facilitated by an accompanying hardware update (which was included as part of the\nCORSICA subscription), the Plastometer capability has been extended to allow testing of\neven harder materials. Metallic materials with yield stresses up to 3 GPa (up from 2 GPa) can\nnow be tested with the PIP technique. This specification covers the vast majority of metallic\nmaterials.</p>\n<p><strong>Brinell Hardness Test Added</strong></p>\n<p>The ability to add a Brinell hardness test to the test protocol has been included. An update to\nthe testing protocol has been implemented that brings further increases in accuracy to both\ninferred yield stress and ultimate tensile strength values of high work-hardening materials.\nThese improvements have been heavily validated and rolled out across all-engineering\nmetals.  </p>\n<p><strong>Improved Embedded Knowledge Centre</strong></p>\n<p>Following the launch of the CORSICA Knowledge Centre in the last update, we have\nexpanded the offering here. Updates\nto the visuals include more user-friendly data capture and data visualisation panels.</p>\n<p><br>\n<strong>Improved Export Capability</strong></p>\n<p>With the Plastometer measuring lots of useful data, it is natural that the user will want to\nexport the results to show their colleagues!
